  3. I think it is the apsolute truth...I have it on my side bar of my other blog..."what a seagull never told you"...you can link to it from my other blog hope whispers. Love your new page!! Thanks for visiting my blog, and for all the inspiration you give to so many! :-)

  4. I heard it about a dozen years ago by someone attributing it to Jean Huston, but I don't think that is correct. It stuck with me and it consoles me when I think that I'm not such a hot human.

  5. Hmm, good question. The second sentence is closer to the mark than the first one, as in the Bible says that we are only in this world temporarily, and then have eternity. So our spirits are eternal while our body is finite.
Yet when we die, the Bible says that believers will receive a resurrected, perfect body like what Jesus received upon His resurrection.
And I've got to say, I'm really looking forward to getting a perfect body...

  6. I agree with it - somebody a long time ago, said: "Imagine" a huge batch of cookie dough and animals,
people, trees ( you get the idea)
cut out of it . They are all
    energy/spirit, in different forms...

  7. first off, i love your header!! there is something about clouds that opens up a world of wonder for me :)
i matured in a time where we were taught that we are spiritual, having a soul, and living in a body. i suppose this is the answer for those who are born again in Christ? it works for me!!
am anxious to hear what YOU have to say!!

  8. wow, great comments- thanks everyone!

Carrie: I actually found this on your other blog but I couldn't find a link to credit the original source of this. Could you send it to me. I am big on giving credit where credit is due.

Peter: lol - I am with you - can't wait to get that perfect body!

sheri: thanks for the compliments on the photo header. I took this photo a month or so ago while on one of our camping trips. Trees, clouds, the sky - they all inspire me, I guess because they bring my eyes up toward the heavens ;)
As far as what I have to say about this...I am not sure what I think, which is why I put it out there for everyone. I'll let you know if I come up with anything. Right now, I am agreeing with dave. "I like it...but I'm trying not to overanalyze things."

  9. I think that I am spiritual now but also know only too well that I am human too. It is my humanness that trips me up. I strive to do God's will and stay on the spiritual path.
